Vtg Leather WWI spec James Dixon & Sons Flask/Sandwich Case Sheffield horse hunt

Fox Hunting silver over copper sandwich case marked "James Dixon & Sons-Sheffield-Made in England 916L". Glass flask with cap marked "JD&S" looks to be part pewter and part silver plate. Leather case has no marks but seven buckles that match and are designed to keep the unit tight to the belt or to the saddle. This case may have also been used in WW I as the leather work is of heavy stich military spec. And pilots often used a small case like this for food and drink. The silver coating having a antiseptic quality. We have decided to leave this unit just as found in storage. The silver is not cleaned but full of rich patina and the glass has residue from the drink it once contained but no liquid. The leather shows signs of storage but all parts work and there are no tears etc. Usual wear expected of this type designed use.
