Antique Vintage Western Tooled Leather Horse Cowboy Saddle The American. Offering an antique/vintage Tooled Leather Saddle. Also impressed on the back is the number.
There are two metal buckles on either side of the saddle (each holding the leather stirrup straps). Exquisite tooling throughout -- florals and abstract "star" design on seat.
The leather is a rich deep brown -- it remains thick and supple. This saddle is estate fresh.It was stored away for years and not used. We have not attempted to clean, polish or recondition it. I do not know about saddles, but it appears to be extremely well made and all parts appear to be present and intact.
Very handsome and very decorative. Measurements (approximate): SEAT -- 17 1/2. 27" long (front to back), and 15 1/4" across (at the widest point of the seat).
The saddle measures 35 from the top of the pommel to the bottom of the side stirrup. We wrap all our items very carefully.
