Vintage Victorinox Swiss Army Watch Cavalry Rectangle, Black

This vintage Victorinox Swiss Army Watch was bought at Nordstrom in the mid to late 1990's. It has been gently worn over the years but has been well taken care of and stored in a smoke-free home. I took it to a jeweler a few years ago to have it cleaned and the jeweler noticed that the black on the face was receding around the edges.

He tried to get a new face from Swiss Army but this model of watch had been discontinued by then. This flaw is noticeable upon close inspection but it does not obstruct the telling of the time. The watch has a second hand and a date indicator. It also has secondary numbers around the dial for 24 hour time. The hands do illuminate in a very dark room as will the dots by the numbers-note, some of these are faint illumination. Please see photos, if you would like more photos, please ask. The back of the watch has one surface scratch near the top center.

The markings on the back read: Swiss Army Brand, Swiss made, water resistant to 10 ft. The leather strap is original and is in good condition. Watch case-1-1/4 inches wide x 1-7/16 inches long. Band length, from buckle to other end-9-1/8 inches.

Note, there are two straps to hold the band closed.
