Wear a pair of his meticulously wrought boots and you'll have to agree. These would be a good start. Rare "Vegas" boots hand crafted by the master, in his pre-initial days. S signature was a stitched T and S - but these boots pre-date that practice. Here's what they do have. Ostrich monogram [C and S]. Incredibly intricate decorative stitching, including a row of tiny flowers in place of piping. Double row wood pegged, stitched leather soles and nailed rubber heel caps. And of course, the real show stopper - those cutout fanciful heels. Little wonder he named these his "Vegas" boot.

Ungodly expensive, and worth every penny. Legends don't come cheap. STATED SIZE: Marked 6.5, but T. Boots run small, so 6 to 6.5. Height [ground to top, including heels] 15 3/4.

Width at widest part of sole: 3 1/2. Length on outside of sole, measured heel to toe 10 1/4. Length measured inside the boot - never an exact science 9 1/2. Circumference measured on outside of boot - calf/midway down boot: 12 1/2.
