Vintage Rodeo Queen Saddle- 15 seat 1972
This is a really cool saddle with a retro vibe, made by the Diamond C Saddle Shop out of Lewiston, Idaho. It is extremely well-made and heavier than it looks!
Nicely padded deep seat, rounded skirt, silver medallion inset horn, leather rosette saddle strings, comes with cinch, back cinch and billet, 6 inch gullet, 15 inch seat. Diamond C Saddle Shop was founded in 1970 and is still in business today, specializing. In custom western, ranch, bronc and barrel racing saddles. It was clearly custom made for SUE (whose name is stamped on the top of the cantle) and her horse so please note that it is not extremely functional - you cannot attach a breast collar to it, and the back skirt is really long and wont fit the average horse.
The fenders are stamped with LCSD which stands for the Lewis Clark Saddle Club in Idaho, an organization that was established in 1950. This would make a great décor piece too! Excellent vintage condition with everything intact and in working condition.
