Vintage Military 1900-02 London Scottish Sporran Leather/Horse Hair

Sporran was worn as part of the voluntary Infantry Regiment uniform of the Gordon Highlanders & City Imperial Volunteers during the British Boer War. The materials are horse hair and leather with a twin smooth coned & chained tassels.

The badge is decorated with holly leaves & berries. There is a lion in center of badge. Also, badge states the words Strike and Save with S.

Africa 1900-02 in bottom center. On back of sporran shows the infantryman's name E. The size is 7" wide by 18" long at the end of the hair.
