Description/Item Details : This listing is for a vintage leather horse collar which measures about 25" long by 20" wide at widest point by about 6 high dark brown in color. The hole/opening is about 20 from top to bottom. Weighs about 6 lbs 6 oz without box or packaging. FYI: I do have 1 more similar horse collar available in a separate listing.
Overall very well made and solid horse collar with some more significant flaws and then some normal minor and subtle wear and aging from usage and aging over the years. The more significant flaws: On the bottom side there is a good sized tear/hole/crack where you can see the inside core material sticking out a bit (see photos). On the very bottom of the skirt in the middle center back side of collar the bottom edge is tore up a bit (see photos 12 & 16). The stitching looks very nice overall but threads on the bottom of the skirt piece that goes all around the outside of it has loop #1 tore and then about 5 other loops missing. I see 1 other small thread cut on top side on one side. The buckle and strap are very nice. The belt has what looks like 2 nice factory holes and then a 3rd that don't look natural or factory that someone may have added on their own it is more like a slit and not perfectly round. Nice and solid collar well built fully functional despite the flaws which shouldn't affect its performance at all. Has pretty descent flexibility not super hard or stiff. Leather looks and feels pretty nice and fresh. Discoloration on the bottom side not sure if this is normal or from usage & wear. Other than this stuff the rest of it is all normal minor wear like some minor cracking, scratches, scuffs, etc. Far from perfect but at the same time overall in pretty nice and solid condition. If you return something do not lie about the reason you are returning it or I will report you and you won't get a way with it much longer. There are no retruns allowed on international sales (Sales outside of the United States). I will treat you how you treat me.
If you don't plan on paying immediately please keep me posted/updated on what is going on that is all I ask. This is all I do for a living so I need to keep things listed so they have a chance to sell if someone doesn't plan on paying for an item I would like to know so I don't have to wait 2 weeks to relist it.
