Vintage Leather Backgammon Set in Tooled Leather Horse Theme Case One of a Kind

Vintage Leather Backgammon Set in a locking Tooled Leather Horse and Aztec Theme Brief Case style Case. Truly One of a Kind. The back side of the case has a blank scroll design. You could have your name tooled onto the scroll by a leather craftsperson if you wished to personalize this. Case when closed is approximately 16"x12"x2 not including handle. Case when open flat is approximately 12"x24"x2 not including handle. Case has a leather key fob attached to the handle with two keys inside.

The cord is too short to fit the key into the locks but I assume that the keys are for the case. Case with tooled leather exterior and suede leather interior playing board. Leather covered Markers - 16 each of blue and mustard. Small Dice - 2 each of brown and off-white. Leather dice cups that have a snap assembly for use but lay flat for storage.

This has light wear and tear from age, use and storage which adds to the vintage appeal of this piece. The leather exterior has some scuffing primarily on the edges and corners. The leather triangles on the inside have a few scuffs. The leather covered markers have light wear - primarily on the round edges due to storage in the built in tray which is a bit tight. The dice have a few corner dings but I have never seen brown dice like these! The interior has a light odor which is a combination of the smell of leather and a light musty smell likely from long periods being closed and stored.

This piece could benefit from being open on display or being played. Please review all photos provided which includes some measurements.

This is a fairly large and heavy case. It weighs nearly 5# prior to a box and protective packaging.
