Vintage Handmade Horse Bridle Yarn Work Leather Braided Folk Art Blinders

What a beautiful interesting piece! Estate find in Hubbard, Texas. I'm not sure of where this piece is originally from, but the husband was originally from Spain, the wife from Texas, and the couple lived in Mexico City in the 1950s thru 1970s, as well as Central Texas, and there were a lot of folk art pieces from Mexico in the estate. This is a handmade piece. The piece does show wear and some fading. See pictures for best description and for measurements.

The couple used it as a display piece. I believe it may be a horse bridle with blinders and muzzle -- I know nothing about horses, so this is my guess after a little research.

Colorful unique equestrian piece -- I found nothing else like it when researching. Great piece for a collector.
