Vintage HandCarved Wood Horse On Base withIron Wheels Leather Saddle Metal Stirrup

Measures 18 tall, 17.5 long at base. Horse is 14.5 x 4 x 15.75 tall. Wheels appear to be a wrought iron with appropriate patina for its age. Many of these fine wood horses were converted to rocking horses and this piece was no exception. It appears that modern hardware was used to reattach wheels and to formerly attach to rocking horse legs.

There is a ding to Right ear, see photos. This is value priced compared to others listed. Inspect them ALL carefully and come back for this amazing price. Tail is genuine horse hair.

Upon initial inspection it is dry and straw-like but adds to the authentic age to this piece.
