Vintage Dooney & Bourke Cavalry Body Bag, Great Condition Rehabbed

NAME OF BAG: Dooney & Bourke All-Weather Leather Cavalry Body Bag. MATERIALS: pebble grain leather (with D&B's All-Weather Leather that sheds water so the bag can be carried in the rain without harming the leather); all metal is solid brass. Unlined, showing the suede side of the leather inside.

COLOR: black trimmed with British Tan. SIZE: very small capacity, 5.5" wide X 5" high X 1.75 deep. POCKETS: A flap inside has a slip pocket. CLOSURE: Closes with a brass keyhole that latches over a brass post. Made of rolled British Tan leather. Length 48" with a drop of 25". Can be used as a clutch or a belt bag; a tan leather sleeve on the back of the bag holds a belt. CONDITION: Very good used condition. No odors, no scratches or stains. FLAWS: some darkening of the tan leather trim. REHAB DETAILS: cleaned inside and outside, brass was polished. Pebbled leather was gently washed but not reconditioned (at Dooney & Bourke's recommendation - conditioner should not be used on D&B's All-Weather Leather). Trim was cleaned and reconditioned. DUST BAG: I will provide a new generic dust bag. To wear as a belt bag, a belt slips through the tan leather on the back of the bag.
