Used Vintage JOHS STUBBEN SIEGFRIED 17.5 ENGLISH Horse SADDLE Leather Suede
Here is a vintage 17.5 high-end Johs. Stubben Siegfried English horse saddle from Germany made of primarily leather with some suede. It weighs about 19 pounds. It has been at our family's ranch here in California for quite awhile but hasn't been used for about twenty. Years when the last horse died. Not being an equestrian myself, I have included photographs with a ruler showing measurements. It's in so-so condition as you can see by the photos but definitely not a lost cause. The saddle has two tears on the suede and one rip on a leather seam that someone tried to fix with duct tape.
In addition some of the leather has some slight inconspicuous cracking that you can see on the underneath part of the saddle. And there are the initials of a family member written under the saddle as shown in a photo. Feel free to ask questions or request more photos and I will respond as quickly as possible.
