What can I say, what a superb piece of Russian History we have here. I have tried to gather as much information regarding this piece so I hope everything is correct or pretty close to it. One thing is for sure, this was made to be worn in extreme old weather conditions for long periods of time. SOVIET COLD WAR ERA MILITARY Double Breasted Horse hide probably leather coat with a thick blanket lining. Maybe an Officers, Police or probably a guards coat.

Check out that Colar line, absolutely fantastic, working Epaulets on cuffs and shoulders. A used Military item so this has most definitely seen action or at least been in service, signs of wear as you would expel, discolouration on places, a few marks in places.

The left epaulet has lost its original button as you can see, if I get time I will replace with a similar black button. Really heavy, nearly 7kg in weight. This originally would have been worn over a full military uniform, so depending on its use this is a medium to Large.

You really wouldn't need anything heavy on under this. So for normal wear with a T-Shirt & Sweater this is a Large 43-46 chest. If worn over a Military uniform this would be a basic Large 41-44 chest. Please take into account the THICKNESS of leather when taking measurements into account.
