Rare Vintage Austrian Draft Horse Brass & Leather Tack

Rare Heavy Leather And Brass Piece for an Austrian Draft Horse probably from around the 30's or Before. 43 1/2" X 6 1/4" the piece is in Excellent condition overall with only a couple of brass pieces missing. The Large piece at the top is Cast brass with the name of the former owner and the address... A small town near Vienna.

These are still often seen in Germany & Austria on Beer Brewery wagon horses in parades etc. But I have Never seen one offered for sale. I have included a photo (found on the net) of a pair of Austrian Pinzgauer Draft horses sporting just such a piece. The brasses were lacquered years ago to save having to polish constantly... The lacquer is worn and the entire piece would be a knock out with a good polish and some oil applied to the leather.
