Pair of Vintage Basket Weave Leather Silver Stud Wild West Tapaderos. This pair of vintage Wild West Tapaderos (hooded saddle stirrups) are beautifully crafted in heavy saddle weight leather stamped in an intricate basket weave design, trimmed with shining silver rectangle studs along the pointed edge surrounding the large silver metal rosette accented with round studs and a pair of embossed silver metal conches with braided leather tassels and leather rosette, sturdy interior metal over curved wood stirrups with leather wrapped foot bed and hand tied stitching.

The leather is thick and weighty with surface scuffs from past use, the leather could use conditioning, scattered oxidation to the silver metal trim, an old past repair to the right stirrup with a slotted screw and a metal washer added to the exterior side of the leather and a square nut to the interior that has oxidized over time, the left stirrup retains the original hardware, w eighing 5 pounds Unboxed with storage dust and soiling, scuffs, nicks and wear to the leather, measuring as noted below and offered as found. 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 7 1/2.
