Top quality VINTAGE DALE CHAVEZ brown leather horse size western show halter with GORGEOUS STERLING SILVER! Top notch vintage Dale Chavez show halter, unmarked as they used to be during the time period this one was made. Quality is nearly identical to vintage Kathysthis is a fantastic quality and beautifully made halter that is superb in every way. HORSE SIZE, and those measurements are listed below. Lovely shade of brown in color with matched stitching.
Adorned with excellent quality STERLING SILVER which is beautifully engraved in a subtly unique pattern which stands out from the crown. Buckles marked STERLING OVERLAYnose has a 10 long bar, cheeks each have 7 long bars, top sides of throatlatch have lovely shaped pieces, and crown has beautiful buckles and tips on crownpiece.
The silver is absolutely stunning, terrific quality and shows a lovely patina. This halter is new without tags, though it is new old stock from the later 90s to the early 2000s, and it does show some light storage/shop wear, but nothing particularly noteworthy. It was properly stored in a climate controlled setting so the leather is supple with a nicely conditioned feel and in excellent shape. Simply fantastic and a rare find! MEASUREMENTS : nose is 12.5, cheeks are 8.25, throatlatch is 20.5, and crown (when buckled up, measured from ring to ring) adjusts between approx.
