Antique Brass Sleigh Bells Leather Strap withBuckle Horse Carriage Vintage Country

This is an antique Leather Strap of brass sleigh bells that was hung around a horses head. It originates from southern MN. It is 3/16" thick unstitched leather that is 1 1/2" wide. The leather is soft, pliable, and has some cracks , particularly where natural bends are.

There are 19 bells of different sizes (perhaps 6) that are riveted to belt with brass rivets. The two bells next to the largest one are of a different type. One of these has a small crack in it. These two bells have white paint overspray spots on them.

The item is 5 ft in length. It has a metal buckle and 3 holes for girth adjustment. I can tell 3-4 different tones when shaken.
