14 Vintage N. Porter Western Saddle

We recently traded for some vintage used saddles. That means we will be offering some of them over the next few weeks. Today we are offering this vintage N. Porter western saddle for sale. Porter saddles are made here in the USA in Phoenix, AZ.

Newton Porter started making quality saddles in 1875 and that tradition has been passed down through the family. The saddle shop was in business until 1960. These saddles are known worldwide for their quality and craftsmanship.

There is no doubt that this is one built older saddle. It has a 14 inch hard leather seat.

The leather is clean and flexible. These stirrups do feature a buckle.

We have included the tie-strap and off-billet that came with this saddle. All the strings and conchos are intact. The bull-hide wrapped tree is ROCK solid. The horn has no wiggle or wobble.

Overall skirt length is 24 inches. Overall weight is 37 pounds. THE ONLY THINGS WE MUST POINT OUT IS: This saddle will need a lining. Also as you can see from the pictures on stirrup leather has been repaired. We have include a picture.
