Vintage 1950's Guide Master Horse Hide Leather Motorcycle Jacket Wolf Outerwear

Up for sale we have this awesome vintage original 1950's Motorcycle / Biker Leather Jacket. The Guide Master by Wolf Outerwear of Boston. Made from genuine front quarter horse hide.

This jacket has a great vintage worn look. We see no tears or holes in the leather.

The lining is intact and in decent shape asides from the area at the neck, above the labels. It is frayed and torn a bit there but still intact and in place. There is a bit of fraying to the lining inside the ends of the sleeves. The leather could use some cleaning and conditioning due to age and decades of storage. But it is not brittle or deteriorating at all.

All snaps seem to be present and functional. All zippers are intact and functional. The main front zipper and the 2 zippers on the sleeves have the original Talon pulls. The 3 smaller pocket zippers on the front are missing the pulls but seem to function as they should. We see no size on the jacket but we compared it to a modern jacket that was size 40 and it is about the same size. From pit to pit it is just under 22 inches. Across the bottom while zipped is 20 1/2 inches. From top of collar to bottom it is about 27 inches in the front and 25 inches in the back. We feel in todays sizes it would be a large medium or a smaller large. We are not experts in vintage leathers but it is about the size of the size 40 we compared it to. This is a fantastic vintage leather from the estate of an 80+ yr old Harley guy. Thanks for checking out this listing.
